Angela McDonald Our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend Angela Smedley McDonald returned to the loving arms of our Heavenly Father Monday, Oct. 7. 2002 due to complications following the birth of a beautiful baby boy. Angela came into this world as a fighter. She weighed only 2 lbs. 11 oz. at birth. Angela was born Sept. 17, 1969 in Bountiful, Utah daughter of Frank Luther and Kay Marie Parkin Smedley. She graduated from Viewmont High School in Bountiful, Utah in 1988. She married the love of her life, Jerry Reed McDonald on March 17, 1995 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. As a child she was known as mommy's angel and daddy's little cheerleader. She was adored by all who knew her, especially her brothers and sisters. Her greatest joy and accomplishment was being a wonderful wife and mother to her two sons Joshua Reed McDonald and Caleb Frank McDonald. Angela loved all little children and she was adored by all of her nieces and nephews. She was a valiant member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served faithfully in many callings. Because of her love of children her favorite callings were those in the primary. She will be remembered for her generosity and her positive attitude. She could light up a room with her smile. Angela was courageous to the end and she will be missed by all. She was a wonderful mother on earth and now is a guardian angel watching over her boys from heaven. Angela is survived by her loving husband Jerry Reed McDonald, and her two sons Joshua Reed and Caleb Frank, her parents, her brothers and sisters, Chris (Kathleya) Smedley, Linda (Kevin) Lemon, Kent (Wendy) Smedley, Jennifer (Sean) Druyon,. She was dearly loved by Jerry's family, Willard "Bud" and Marianne, Teresa (Bill) Quick, Jenny (Michael) Smith, Marcie (Brock) Andersen and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents and Kim (brother) and Joan Marie (sister).
