Mark Scott Peterson, beloved husband and father and a man of honor, strength, and integrity, passed away February 1, 2015. He was born to Cecile (Reese) and Scott D. Peterson in Bountiful, Utah, on July 21, 1970. He attended Viewmont High School, where he made many lifelong friends. He served a mission in Jacksonville, Florida, and attended the University of Utah and Westminster College. He began working at Fidelity Investments, followed by his current position at the State of Utah's Department of Financial Institutions. He was a soccer coach, served in two bishoprics and many other callings, and was a rock in his family and his community. He met the love of his life, Traci Smith, and they were sealed in 2003 in the Bountiful, Utah Temple. They have four beautiful children: Nathan Scott (10), Matthew Henry (Happy 9th Birthday!), Brooke Elizabeth (7), and Ashley Marie (4). Mark's family was everything to him, and he leaves many broken hearts behind him. He is survived by his wife and four children; his parents; brothers: Brent, Craig (Heather), Kevin (Natalie); and 5 amazing nieces and nephews.
